Bedford’s DECA Club Shines in March Competition

Compiled by Tim Dolan, advisor, information from Justine Flora

On the weekend of March 1-2, Bedford High School’s DECA club competed at the BCEC at Seaport in Boston, that included over 4,050 teachers and students. Advisor Justine Flora noted “The students were incredible throughout the competition, demonstrating both professionalism and a great sense of fun. Overall, we had a fantastic time!” She also noted that “Bedford achieved some outstanding results!”

Twins Maya and Diya Singh had a spectacular showing, and placed, as Flora noted, “first in the state” in their competition categories.

Two other BHS students, Claire Wei and Priscilla Park, who are both new to DECA this year, “worked tirelessly on their Integrated Marketing Campaign project. Their hard work paid off, as they also secured 1st place in the state!”

All four girls will be heading to Orlando in April to compete at the international level. Please join us in congratulating them!
