Congratulations to Mira Smith for winning first prize in the 2025 Congressional Art Show at Montserrat College for her painting A Way Through! This year almost 100 students from 22 different schools across the district submitted their work. A ceremony was held on March 15th at Montserrat College where winners and honorable mentions were presented with their awards and had the opportunity to meet Congressman Seth Moulton. Winners were also presented with scholarships to Montserrat’s summer pre-college program.
This year for the first time ever, the first and second prize winners will be displayed alongside the grand prize winning piece at the Congressman’s office in Salem until next year’s art show! Congrats again, Mira!
