The 15-year-old American singer-songwriter Maddox Batson has recently risen to fame on various social media platforms since 2023 with releasing country and pop albums. His debut EP First Dance caused him to drastically rise to fame. One of his most popular songs on the album, called Girl in Green, is currently gaining more and more streams and views by the day on platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and TikTok. The music video features growing influencer and TikTok star, Embreigh Courtlyn, appearing as the lead girl in the green dress performing next to Maddox himself. Her connection to the Glow House, a recently formed content house based in LA with many young teenage girl influencers has grabbed the attention from young fans. Kid influencers such as Britain & Baylaa, and Haven & Koti, have posted videos to Girl in Green, Haven & Koti even referring to him as their “first celebrity crush”, and comparing him to the Canadian pop star Justin Bieber. Haven & Koti additionally posted Tiktok videos meeting Embreigh and “going to the Glow House Party, the videos being filmed with music in the background. Even with very different music styles between Justin and Maddox, will Maddox’s ability to grasp the attention of young fans lead him to fame as well? Only time will tell, but as of now Maddox has not failed to promote his music, as Mr. Dolan and the BHS Lookout have received many posters from him promoting his EP First Dance.
