The 11th LexMUN commenced on January 21st, with several participating from Bedford High School. LexMUN was Bedford’s Model United Nation’s first conference of the year, and leads up to BosMUN, a larger conference with participants from across the country. Model UN is a club at BHS where people are able to go to conferences, such as LexMUN, and participate in a simulation of the United Nations, through both historical, present, or fictional events. At the end, each committee gives awards to those who excelled in their role. Iris Yin and Karina Haugen received visual recognition for their excellent work, and Aanya Jain received the award of Best Position Paper for an elaborate and well thought-out paper. Congratulations to all who participated and to all who won awards!
