Euphoria Coffee is a small family business, owned by Peter Lin and his wife, Hannah Jin. It opened May 2025 on 300 Great Rd, and is a mix of Italian and Japanese influences. On Jan 30th, I went with my family to order some food and give my honest review and opinions.
As far as presentation goes, instantly when you walk in it’s a very calm and pleasing ambiance, with some nice lofi in the background as most coffee shops have. It’s decorated quite minimalist and clean with some pops of color as plants, as well as paintings on the wall of different kinds of coffee machines, which I personally found to be a very nice touch. There was also plenty of comfortable seating (with spinny chairs!)
Unfortunately they were sold out of most of their pastries on the only day we could make it, but still had plenty of muffins so that’s what we got. Although under normal circumstances they seemed to have a very long menu with tons of options. We ended up getting the lemon poppy and pistachio muffins, a sparkling lemonade, and a London Fog tea. I’ll also add that the service was very fast, they brought us our food in no time.
Lemon Poppy Muffin (8/10):
The muffin was a bit cold when served, though that could be our fault because we came towards the end of their opening schedule. It was decently large, and had a hard crust on the top and a chewy inside. The inside itself was dense and spongey. Very spongey. The lemon taste was very faint, though I think the poppy seeds were a nice touch and definitely made it look pretty.
Pistachio muffin (6.5/10):
Very similar to the lemon poppy muffin in terms of texture, except this time a neon green. It didn’t taste a lot like pistachio, but the added walnuts definitely helped in the flavor department. Plus they added some extra texture.
Sparkling Lemonaid (9/10):
It’s a pretty simple drink so there’s not a lot that I can say. But for its simplicity, it was very good. It had a strong acidic flavor without being overwhelming, which can be a very hard balance to find. There was also a lemon inside for an extra fancy touch, and the bubbles added an extra kick that made the whole drink a bit more interesting than just normal lemonade
London Fog (10/10):
London Fog’s are one of my personal favourite teas/beverages in general. It’s earl grey and some vanilla syrup, with milk and foam on top. When they served it it was piping hot, and I had to wait a while before I could drink it (there were also two tea bags that took half the foam with them but I’m just being picky.) And no exaggeration, this may be one of the best London fog’s I’ve had (once I could actually drink it). It had a very pungent earl grey taste, but wasn’t bitter in the slightest, it was actually really sweet, and it balanced nicely. The foam on top was also super rich and creamy, I wish there was more of it. And despite it being so rich it still felt light, it didn’t fill me up, like a good tea should. I just loved this item, what can I say?
Overall coming here was a very pleasant experience, the ambiance is great and the staff was very kind. I’d love to go again some other time and try some of the items I wasn’t able to.
