Starbucks Spring Drinks Review

By Joy Morrison and Eleanor Chao, 2029

We went to Starbucks on Valentine’s Day to try and review some of their new items. This was our experience (these are only some of their new things):

Yuzu Citrus Blossom: The citrus filling and the soft, flakey pastry complement each other, and it isn’t too sweet. Our only complaint was that it had too much filling.

Chocolate Pistachio Loaf: The chocolate pistachio loaf has a strong nutty flavor and a soft, spongy texture. It’s very rich, though the chocolate flavor isn’t very prominent.

Truffle Egg Bites: The egg bites are cheesy but the strong truffle flavor overwhelms most of the other components. We enjoyed it but this might not be for you if you don’t like the flavor of truffle.

Iced Double Berry Matcha: It is hard to get the syrup off the bottom at first, but once it is mixed in, it has a strong raspberry flavor. It is overall delicious.

Iced Dubai Chocolate Matcha: It has a strong but good matcha flavor. If you want to taste the Dubai chocolate flavor, I would say this might not be the drink for you. It is still very good and if you love matcha this could be a good drink to get.
