Jenna Raine is a popular singer and songwriter who got her start on TikTok as well as in an all-girl band called L2M. Recently she debuted her new album “Only Started Growing.” The album has a unifying theme of moving on from a rough patch in your life and starting a new chapter. The songs in this album are: Good grief: about how good it feels to leave a toxic partner even if it hurts, Hitchhiking / Who am I: about being stuck in a relationship that used to be exciting but has grown stale, 21: about how scary it is to pass this milestone in your life, Never too late: about how It’s never a bad time to turn your life around, and Roses: about enjoying the simple things in life. These messages will undoubtedly resonate with other teenagers struggling to make their lives better and looking for something to take comfort in, which she has said is her goal with writing music.
Though Jenna Raine started off as an Indie creator, she has recently signed onto Warner Records as her record label. But her music still maintains that indie feel to it, consisting of calming melodies with emotionally resonant lyrics and a simple singing style. Some artist that she can be compared to are Aimee Carty and Avery lynch for their simpler down-to-earth approach tow their music.
