This past weekend was the DECA State competition at the Hynes Convention Center & Marriott Copley. BHS represented with class and professionalism all around! I am incredibly proud of all of the students in DECA this year, everyone worked really hard regardless! While not everyone can advance to the Nationals, I am proud to report that Maya and Diya won the quizbowl and will be attending Nationals in Anaheim California in late April! These two beat 66 teams, an absolutely impressive feat for them! BHS has never won a quizbowl, as it is very difficult! I read all of the judges’ feedback for our 14 other competitors and was so incredibly proud of their reactions to our students, ALL of them had glowing feedback!
I would like to thank everyone who supported the team and approved their attendance! Extra special shout out to the Rotary of Bedford for the grant they gave our team! We are truly grateful!
