The BHS community is very excited to welcome Ms. Tate to our school office! She has a very important role here, providing “support to our school administrative office,” and helps to “keep the office running smoothly”, providing help for students and staff.
Outside of the office, Ms. Tate is “an avid reader – having read 98 books last year and 61 already this year!” And while outside of the house, she still enjoys incorporating her free time into helping our community. She is a volunteer with “Babe Ruth Baseball & Softball” and serves on the “Fire Station Building Committee.” She is also an active “member of the BHSPA”.
The most fun part about her job is “getting to know all of the students here at the high school.” She’s noticed that “everyone has been so welcoming.” She especially loves seeing students who she’s “known since they were younger”, and seeing how they’ve grown. And being a mom of BHS students, she knows “it’s also fun to see two of my own children.”
With an early school start time, a little caffeine is a must. Ms. Tate loves her go-to Starbucks order, a “grande oat milk latte with 2 extra shots of espresso” a perfect pick-me-up for those busy mornings!
