The BHS DECA club recently attended the DECA International Career Development Conference (ICDC) in Orlando, Florida. Over the 4 day event, there were 26,000 attendees with 10,000 competitors from 31 countries! BHS Senior Maya and Diya Singh competed in their final year, earning a spot in the Top 5 in the Hospitality & Tourism Team Decision Making event. Successfully advancing to finals, they have become one of the top-performing teams in the category winning 4th place! Furthermore, sophomores Claire Wei and Priscilla Park attended the ICDC conference for the first time, competing in the Integrated Marketing Campaign-Product category. After winning first place at the state championships, their appearance at ICDC has been an inspiring experience that encourages them to continue with DECA in the future, representing BHS!
