Mrs. Laurie Vigna is our new Foods and Nutrition and Early Childhood Education teacher. Prior to coming to BHS, she taught culinary arts at Salem High School. She says that her favorite thing to cook is Italian cuisine, and she is excited for her students this year to make fresh pasta and an assortment of different sauces. More than anything this year she is “looking forward to really getting to know all [her] students and finally learning their names.”
Mrs. Vigna has one daughter and a yellow lab named Nellie. Outside of school, she enjoys working in her yard, playing with her dog, going to flea markets, and playing the guitar. She also has a passion for science and says she would have been a science teacher or marine biologist if she didn’t go into her current field. She loves any sort of crime drama and is currently watching Unforgotten on Netflix. She would love to go to Iceland for her next trip
